The general cost of a desert safari starts at AED 35 per person. However, prices can range up to a few AED 850 dirhams per person, depending on the packages. Shared packages are comparably cheaper than private safari packages. Furthermore, price changes are imminent. They tend to rise abruptly with add-ons and extra services. The time you need for your Dubai desert safari depends on your safari package. Morning and evening safari packages are usually six hours long. However, overnight safari packages can go up to 18 hours, from 2 p.m. to 8 a.m.

The best time to go on a desert safari is always the winter months (September–March). The temperature is perfect for dune bashing, camel rides, buggy rides, and quad bike rides. Because these months are peak tourist months bookings at the last minute are hard to get. Make reservations in advance.
