Dubai Car Rental Insurance Terms 

• In case of an accident, if the hirer is responsible, he will pay the accident penalty 'the excess amount of insurance coverage' + 20% of repair, in addition to the daily rent until the repairing of the vehicle is complete. And if he is not responsible, with the second party present, then he/she is off charges .
• In the event of "TOTAL LOSS" (damage to vehicle beyond the economic repair), the hirer agrees to pay the insurance company 20% of the total insured value of the car + the accident penalty 'of the excess amount of insurance coverage.'
• The hirer must hold a valid driving licence for at least one (1) year.
• The hirer must be more than 21 years of age.
• It is a deal between Friends Car Rental and the hirer who's holding less than a year validity driving licence less than a year or less than 21 years old that the hirer is fully liable to pay for all the repair charges and damages.
• The vehicle is for use in UAE, and only the insurance coverage is also for UAE only.
• Suppose any accident occurred because the driver was under the influence of alcohol or any substance having the same effect. In that case, he should pay comprehensive compensation for any losses and damages to the vehicle. They shall be fully responsible before the official authorities.
• The hirer must ensure that the vehicle is parked safely and securely when it is not in use. Any damages caused to the car, including those due to natural disasters, will be the sole responsibility and liability of the hirer, as the insurance cannot claim the same.
• In case of any damage not supported by a police report, the hirer will be fully responsible before the official authorities, plus the vehicle repair.

No Insurance Coverage In The Following Circumstances

• Renting the car from an unknown source.
• Driving under the influence of alcohol or any substance having the same effect at the time of the accident.
• The car is driven by an unauthorized driver.
• Any damages caused to the vehicle due to natural disasters, off-road driving, driving in a race track plus the hirer will be fully charged 100%, or inside the desert areas, also if the car is driven outside the UAE.
• I authorizes Friends Car Rental to recover the vehicle by key reserves from anywhere in the UAE without reference to me.

Fines And Salik Terms In Dubai​

• The hirer agrees to pay all traffic and parking fines during the rental period.
• The hirer agrees to pay the deposit for traffic and parking fines during or after the rental period, according to the agreement, and the company reserves the right, within one month of the end of the rental, to claim any such unpaid amounts from the hirer.
• The hirer agrees to pay charges for the car's passage from the electronic gates of the "SALIK SYSTEM" ( 5 DHS.) Per Pass.

Conditions Of Car Rental Dubai​

• In case of any accident, the hirer should not move the car from the place of the accident before the police inspection is complete. He/she must deliver all the required documents to the rental office immediately. Otherwise, he/she will be held fully responsible.
• The hirer is responsible for paying the repair and daily rental fee for the period of nonwork due to an accident or technical trouble due to the hirer's carelessness, negligence or intention.
• In case of an accident, or technical or mechanical troubles, the hirer must inform the rental office immediately. The hirer can only repair the vehicle if notifying the rental office.
• According to the attached checkout list, the vehicle should be delivered to the rental office in good condition, and the hirer undertakes to keep sufficient water and oil in the vehicle. If the hirer returned the car unclean, he should pay cleaning charges.
• The hirer must return the vehicle to the office for the periodical services.
• The hirer should not use the vehicle for off-road driving, or in any races, rallies or competitions, or to get inside the desert areas, or any activities that may damage the vehicle. He will be responsible for any damage to the vehicle because of this.
• Hirer is responsible for any complement, case or obligations regarding the vehicle before the office or the official authorities which occur within the hire. Also, he will be responsible alone if he uses the vehicle to transport any forbidden items in the UAE. Hirer should also pay the full contract amount until some arrangement is reached between the hirer and the office.
• Friends Car Rental will not be responsible for any cash or valuable belongings left or lost inside the vehicle while it was in his/her possession or after the entire rental period.
• The hirer is allowed to drive 250 km per day.
• One day rent means 24 hours and more than one hour late will be full day charged.

The Hirer Will Also be Liable To Pay The Following Charges:

• Car towing service – Decline in value regardless of whether the vehicle is repaired or not – Any amounts paid by 'Luxury Car Rental 'as a result of the loss or damage to the vehicle, including court costs and legal fees.

Hours And Delivery Terms​

• The hirer must refrain from subleasing the rented vehicle. Those who aren't acknowledged on the rental agreement as a driver nor a second driver are not authorized to withhold the vehicle.
• In the event of complaints filed to public authorities, governmental or non-governmental agencies, the hirer who is at fault is liable to pay for all the fees, documentation and inconveniences brought up for the disability of the rental company.
• According to the agreement, the specified distance for Tenant's monthly rent is 4,500 kilometers and more than it pays per kilometer.
