The time you need for your Dubai desert safari depends on your safari package. Morning and evening safari packages are usually six hours long. However, overnight safari packages can go up to 18 hours, from 2 p.m. to 8 a.m.
The best time to go on a desert safari is always the winter months (September–March). The temperature is perfect for dune bashing, camel rides, buggy rides, and quad bike rides. Because these months are peak tourist months bookings at the last minute are hard to get. Make reservations in advance.
