Upcoming Ferrari Cars From 2025-2028

Upcoming Ferrari Cars From 2025-2028

Ferrari has been a dominant name in the global automotive industry since the mid-20th century. This Italian luxury sports car manufacturer has been mesmerizing the whole world with wonderful creations and will keep doing so as it pushes the boundaries of automotive excellence with its upcoming future cars. Ferrari's upcoming cars from 2025 to 2028 encompass a few new additions to the lineup and upgraded versions of existing models, all embodying sophistication, craftsmanship, and innovation. These future cars will carry on the iconic Ferrari legacy and propel it to the next level with a gradual shift toward the new age of modern automotive. Let's see what the forthcoming Ferraris are and what they have to offer!

Ferrari SF90 Successor, 2025

Ferrari is currently testing its upcoming SF90 successor on the streets, heavily camouflaged. Numerous spy shots have been circulating the internet, showcasing almost identical SF90 but with longer front overhang and taller rear fascia. As the time has come for SF90 recycling, it's not surprising to see its successor preparing to carry on the iconic nomenclature.

Many car experts and reports claim that the successor will feature a wedge shape. The enhancements and changes will take the upcoming SF90 successor's proportions near the 296 GTB. We can also notice changes in the rear light design, which now resembles the 296 GTB rather than the square-shaped rings of the SF90.

Most likely, the upcoming SF90 successor will continue to use the hybrid-plug powertrain. However, we cannot definitively determine whether it will utilize a V6 or V8 engine with a dual or triple-motor setup. Regardless, we can expect the successor to come with higher power and performance than the current SF90.

The new SF90 will likely use an enhanced version of its existing platform. This mid-engine platform works perfectly fine for the hybrid model with many types of configurations. Ferrari has maintained complete confidentiality regarding the current developments. We can anticipate the release of more information as we approach 2025 when we are likely to witness its unveiling.

Ferrari Roma Successor, 2026

A local Ferrari dealership in Al Manara, as well as several auto articles, indicate that the Italian auto brand is planning to unveil a successor to the Roma in the coming year. Different spy photographers have captured the test prototype for the upcoming Ferrari Roma successor in different regions, confirming its imminent unveiling and release.

The heavily camouflaged spy shots don't show any detail besides the unaltered design or shape. The subtle details that indicate changes include the more spaced exhaust pipes, the headrests on the seats, and the LED headlight patterns. Unlike its predecessor, the iconic Portofino, which came with a completely new design, its successor will not feature a redesign but rather some distinctive upgrades.

Given that the current Roma is nearing the end of its lifecycle, it makes sense to introduce its successor. However, Ferrari has kept everything under wraps and is secretly testing prototypes. We can only speculate that it will have a hybrid powertrain, similar to the recently unveiled F80. It makes sense, as the Italian automaker wants to be carbon neutral by 2030. The Roma may continue to use the same ICE V8 engine, but only Ferrari can reveal its internal workings.

We anticipate the unveiling of the upcoming Roma successor in the second half of 2025, followed by its official launch in early 2026. Ferrari might launch its iconic SF90's successor before the Roma successor. Regardless, the coming days will be full of Ferrari's new and upgraded models.

Ferrari EV, 2026

Benedetto Vigna, Ferrari's CEO, confirmed the Italian automaker's first EV to hit the global market in 2026, back in 2023. After almost two years, we are still waiting for its official unveiling. Though some spy photographers have captured the test mule in action, we cannot rest assured that it is the final form of the upcoming Ferrari EV.

Ferrari has a history of using Maserati's frames to test its new models, which is exactly what we can see with the new EV. The fully camouflaged test mule is the Maserati Levante with fake exhausts. According to Vigna, Ferrari EV prototypes have already covered several thousand miles. This suggests that they have amassed a substantial amount of data to proceed with production. However, the process may take some time as Ferrari aims to create an electric vehicle that truly embodies their brand DNA.

Vigna did not reveal any details about the car, such as the motor setup, power configurations, battery capacity, charging, and range. The details will eventually emerge as the unveiling approaches. Until then, we can only speculate about what the new Ferrari EV will offer to captivate fans and attract new buyers. However, Vigna has confirmed that the new EV will not utilize LFP [lithium-iron-phosphate] batteries.

This electric vehicle (EV) may begin production in late 2025 or early 2026 and become available for purchase in 2026. The production will take place in Ferrari's new E-Building on its Maranello campus. Ferrari must come with a banger of an EV to dethrone its competitors.

  • Expected Launch Date: Sometime in 2026
  • Estimated Price Range: Staring around $500,000 USD

2026 Ferrari EV Specifications: Here’s what we know so far:

Final Thoughts

Ferrari has been at the forefront of the sports car industry for over seven decades, which is simply astonishing. I believe Ferrari will continue to lead the sports car industry in the future, prioritizing the customer experience over market hype. Maybe this clarifies why it has delayed the debut of its all-electric car until 2026. To keep up with the times and remain relevant in the modern automobile business, Ferrari appears to be aware of the ever-changing needs and restrictions. So, in the near future, we can expect to witness a plethora of exciting cars from the Italian automakers.
