Following its covert debut at the 39th Festival d'Hyères in France, some spy photos and reports indicate that the 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA is ready for production. It is almost certain that the CLA will carry on with its concept design, which is stunningly elegant in an aerodynamic silhouette, diamond-studded faux front grille, full-width lightbar (above the grille), and three-pointed star DRL headlights. 

This sedan will feature minimalist interiors, adorned with the latest technologies and exclusively selected elements, but it will be more toned down than the concept interior. As the powerhouse, the CLA utilizes an MMA platform that incorporates both ICE and EV powertrains. Although the official specs remain undisclosed, there are widespread rumors that it will feature a 250-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

An 800-volt system, capable of charging up to 250 kW, will equip the eCLA (version), offering 248 miles of range in just 15 minutes. The manufacturer has yet to officially announce the final numbers. Regardless, we can anticipate that the 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA will compete with the likes of the BMW i4 and Tesla Model 3 when it hits the market in late 2025 or early 2026.

We expect the 2027 Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class EV to replace the current EQC lineup in the near future. Mercedes has confirmed that the 2027 models of these electric compact crossovers will debut in US markets in 2026. The GLC-Class EVs will likely hit the markets together with C-Class EVs, as both of them have been out for testing at the same time.

As of now, we don't know the exact features of the GLC Class, but we can expect the SUV to have a unique and contrasting design that leans more towards the rear. The spy photos clearly show unique tail lights with bulging appearances, which may or may not remain the same after final production.

This line of SUVs will certainly feature Mercedes' new MB.EA dedicated EV platform. Some variants will have a 300-mile range. It's okay to assume that the GLC CLass will have an 800-watt electrical system, featuring high charging rates. However, it's too soon to predict much about the 2027 Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class EV.
